Three Amigos Margarita Recipe

It’s National Margarita Day and while we’re a fan of any holiday that pairs well with chips and guacamole, we don’t really need an excuse to indulge. However, every indulgence doesn’t have to hurt your healthy habits.

While classic margaritas are packed with sugar and salt, this easy-to-enjoy twist features a variety of fresh squeezed juices, sans the salted rim, to create a margarita you don’t have to feel bad about.

Healthy Margarita Ingredients

  • 1 oz. sparkling water
  • 2 oz. fresh blood orange juice
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. agave nectar

Healthy Margarita Recipe Instructions

  • Combine juices, tequila and agave nectar in a mixer with crushed ice and shake well.
  • Pour into glass, top off with sparkling water and garnish with a slice of blood orange.
  • Enjoy!
